Assessment of Presidents and Chief Executives

Two Guides on assessing Presidents (CEOs, Executive Directors) of higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations are available online for use without charge by Governing Boards.

“Sitting beside rather than standing over” is the guiding principle and approach used to assess a President or Chief Executive. Each guide includes a “cafeteria menu” of approximately 150 criteria that can be selected to assess a President or Chief Executive.

GPI Global Perspective Inventory

The Global Perspective Inventory (GPI) is a web-based assessment of individual experiences and the development of a global perspective.
